Poetry and Covid

I’m so thrilled and honoured to have my first piece of peer-reviewed poetry published in a special edition of Stimulus Journal.

My piece is called telos (which means goal, the ending point of things). I wrote it in response to an experience I had while making the quilt top in the photo.

I hope it encourages you.

Dear Miriam, CONGRATULATIONS!! I am SO delighted for you!! Thank you so much for sharing it with me! And of course I know this recognition is a real ‘coup’…a ‘feather in your cap’ so to speak💥

Yet I also posit and ‘know’ that as the future unfolds, your writing is going to become even more widely disseminated and honoured as the ‘gift’ of God in YOU…which it is!!

I’m not aware of the ‘Stimulus’ magazine…I’ll have a browse when time permits…it looks really interesting.

As well I’ve meaning to say that I’ve signed up for the Bible project to which you sent me the invitation …looking forward to some time with it later in the week. Also enjoyed the webinar last Friday too….thanks so much for these resources you pass on to me!!

Lovings and Rejoicings over you 🎼🎶🎶🍷
